Milagritos

A watch woven with symbols, stories, and soul.

Designed by Mexican-born artist and storyteller, Mariana Calderón, Milagritos draws from the rich iconography of her upbringing where coins, saints, and sacred charms held deep meaning.

‘Milagritos’ translates to ‘little miracles’ in Spanish. These are small, decorative, metal charms that hold deep meaning and carry powerful emotion.

The heart at the centre is surrounded by symbols that give life meaning, all of the wants, needs and beliefs that make us human.

Encircling it, a snake that marks the hours and minutes embodies a circle of constant movement and renewal.

These two symbols together represent the substance of life itself. The heart symbolising our desires and the snake symbolising the cycles of time in which we live and die.

Everything, in life and in this watch, is followed by an all-seeing eye at the centre.

Steeped in spirituality, ritual and symbolic objects, this watch is a wearable story representing the fascinating idea of breathing meaning and magic into the small things that surround us.
